The Nihon Revue, Episode Ten Part 2: The Re-return

Part 2 of the podcast is here!

Once again, we’re back with Click, Reckoner, Kadian and myself. We finally dive into this season’s anime, as well as the recent Anime Bancho offering Turning Girls. Due to some technical difficulties, we’ve had to re-record certain sections, so apologies if the voices sound different at points. The summer previews include the self-depreciating Watamote, the wacky Eccentric Family, the rustic Sliver Spoon and the delicious Free!

We’re currently experimenting with the cutting length, so please post on the comments if you want to hear only the best parts or if you prefer to hear our melodic but droning voices.

  1. Oh wow. I really did miss this little segment.

    It won’t the same anymore without Sorrow-kun at the helm, but still very nice. Right. I’m off to watch the entire thing, all one hour and thirty minutes of it.

  2. Thanks for your kind words.
    Sadly all our sempais are very busy making a living, though we would love it if they were free to join us

  3. I don’t always agree with Reckoner, but hearing Shin Oonuma getting insulted on this podcast is music to my ears. Although Click, I’m pretty sure the anime version of ef is different from the original VN. The Renji/Chihiro part of the game wasn’t even released when the anime got to it.

  4. @Kirin

    Thank you! I hope we didn’t bore you with this at all.

    @Flawfinder

    When ef was first made I thought he might be promising… Oh how wrong I was.

  5. @Flawfinder

    Well, he does have some redeeming qualities. Lemme see…
    Nope, he’s making Prisma Ilya as well. 0/10. Will not do, even if I get drunk.
